My Story

Growing up queer and non-binary in a rural Catholic environment taught me early on what isolation, shame, and the feeling of not belonging can do. I have also witnessed firsthand the effects of systemic violence and the ways it can shape our relationship with ourselves, our bodies, other people, and the world around us.

Today, I support people whose identity, life experiences, or personal journey have affected their sense of safety, their relationship with themselves, or their ability to connect with others. You may feel angry, exhausted, disconnected from your body, struggle to assert yourself, or feel as though the outside world and intimate relationships have become places of risk.

My practice is particularly attuned to LGBTQ+, trans, queer, non-monogamous, and polyamorous realities. I support people who are questioning their identity or going through a transition, including with certain transition-related forms.

You may also be deeply affected by what someone close to you is going through. Being the partner, loved one, caregiver, or witness of someone experiencing violence or oppression can bring up feelings of helplessness, guilt, anger, or profound exhaustion. I support you when caring for others begins to weigh on your own well-being or pulls you away from your own needs.

My approach is anti-oppressive, intersectional feminist, trans-affirming, and humanistic. I also draw on somatic approaches to help you reconnect with your body and nervous system, particularly when you understand intellectually what is happening to you but still find certain reactions difficult to change.

My goal is to help you regain a greater sense of agency, inner safety, and connection with yourself, while making more room for pleasure, joy, and meaning in your life. If you are looking for a space to set down some of what you have been carrying, better understand what you are going through, and develop a gentler relationship with yourself, I invite you to book an appointment with me.
